Welcome to Ridgemor Villa Cape Town South Africa
Ridgemor Villa is a farm guesthouse situated in a beautiful wine area of the Western Cape. The farm dates back to 1670 and is one of the oldest farms in the area. The name Ridgemor, which was established in 1862, derives from its original owners, Ridge & Morris. Initially, it belonged to Zandvliet and was used as a tobacco and cattle farm. Our friendly home is in a private and exclusive environment is surrounded by a tranquil garden with a unique bird life experience.The Guest House consists of 7 beautifully furnished spacious rooms, including a luxurious suite. The suite has a spa bath, double shower and a huge private balcony, and cozy lounge. Enjoy open spaces and fresh air away from the town‘s hustle and bustle while still being a short distance away from the beach with excellent restaurants, bars, and open-air coffee shops to choose from. It is our mission to ensure our guests experience the best the Cape Wine Lands have to offer, so we are more than happy to assist with your day planning, transport arrangements, restaurant bookings and advice to make sure you have a memorable and amazing holiday.

The Rooms and Suites

Pool Side Room
This room on the ground floor has twin or a double bed. Please State which you prefer when booking. It has air-conditioning, under floor heating, flat screen TV with Hotel boutique channels, DVD Player, an En-suite bathroom with a shower, tea and coffee facilities and is very elegantly decorated. Doors open onto a patio and is very close to the Garden, Pool and Jacuzzi.

Family Room
It is a very spacious two inter leading rooms on the second floor and has a King size bed leading upstairs and twin beds for the children downstairs. The room has Air Conditioning, a cozy lounge, Flat Screen TV with Dstv channels, DVD player, and Tea and Coffee Facilities. The bathroom has a shower and bath and a double sink. The peace and tranquility of this room is calming and private, and comes with a large balcony with beautiful views of Cape Town in the far distance.

Room Secret Corner
The secret corner room is on the second floor and from the Private balcony it over looks the Pool and garden. There is a king size bed with lots of stunning cupboards. Flat screen TV with selected Dstv Channels, DVD player, Tea and Coffee facilities, under floor heating, heated towel rail, and Air Conditioning. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with wonderful views over the vineyards and a shower and wash hand basin.

Room Deluxe with Balcony
This room is very elegantly decorated it has a Private Balcony over looking the Pool and Garden with Sea and Mountain views in the distance. It offers carpeted bedroom with a king size bed, flat screen TV with selected Dstv Channels, DVD player, Tea & Coffee facilities, under floor heating, Air Conditioning, heated towel rail, and the en-suite bathroom offers bath and shower, wash hand basin, and lots of cupboard space.

Room Hidden Gem
This carpeted room has lots to offer, A king Size bed, flat screen TV with selected Dstv channels, DVD player, and the bedroom comes with a balcony over looking the pool and wonderful garden. In the distance you can see Table Mountain if the weather is clear. Lots of cupboard space, Radio Alarm, Tea & Coffee Facilities, Under floor heating, Air Conditioning, heated towel rail, En-Suite bathroom with Bath and Shower, creates all you need to sleep comfortably.

Unexpected Suite
This is a very special Suite and it is creatively private and intimate and comes with a large outside Balcony with lovely garden views. The large bedroom is carpeted, and has under floor heating, Air Conditioning, flat screen TV with selected Dstv Channels, DVD Player, Tea & Coffee Facilities and room amenities. The lounge area is decorated with a coffee table and cozy sofa. The bathroom has it’s own Jacuzzi bath and over looks the vineyards, a very large 2 person’s shower and double wash basins, heated towel rails and a modern tiled floor.
The interior is very tastefully furnished; it consists of two lounge areas, two dinning rooms. The lounge areas are ideal to relax and read a book with tranquil sounds of the garden and pool. The smaller lounge is located close to the bar and it’s a great area for guests to watch live DSTV sports action on the big screen TV.

Dinning Area
Our second dining room is ideal for groups of 10 people or less who want to enjoy a meal in privacy with the “family feel” around the big table. During the summer months we set our tables outside on the veranda for you to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful garden.

Outside
The huge, immaculately kept garden is big enough for children to run around in and enjoy themselves, whilst the parents can relax on the grass with a picnic basket ordered from our kitchen in the shade of the huge trees. The large beautiful pool comes with an outside smalled bar for lazy, hot summer afternoons, and deck chairs for soaking up the sun. The heated jacuzzi is conveniently situated, and all our guests are welcome to make use of the facilities.

The coast offers great possibilities for exciting water sports and viewing of the whales (in season). For the golfing enthusiast there are some excellent courses in the surrounding area. Great thing about where we are situated is that it will take less than an hour to get your destination. We can book all your day tours on your behalf.
